Project Description

Hank got in touch with Acepub because he wanted to convert his superbly formatted coffee table book into an eBook. He wanted it to appear the same way no matter which device it was viewed on — Kindle, iPad, or Kindle and iPad computer and smartphone apps.

Ebook Formatting and Distribution

We decided that a fixed-layout format would be best for Hank, since it would allow us to retain the following formatting elements exactly:

  • Two-page spreads
  • Wide variety of font styles, colors, and arrangements
  • High resolution images with very specific placement
  • Diagonal paragraph margins

Hank provided a pdf, and using that, we created a beautiful fixed-layout eBook that remained faithful to the print version. Hank was delighted with the output, as you can see by his testimonial.
